What you will do

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of complex commercial agreements for SaaS, cloud, and market data licensing.
• Provide legal counsel to executives on market data regulation, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and commercial risk.
• Manage vendor legal governance, advising on liability allocation, risk mitigation, and performance obligations.
• Drive legal strategy for the global protection, enforcement, and commercialization of intellectual property.
• Advise on data protection and privacy obligations, specifically GDPR and global cross-border transfer frameworks.
• Design and scale contract management frameworks to improve operational efficiency and risk visibility.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of PQE with strong experience in commercial technology, fintech, or SaaS.
• Deep expertise in negotiating complex technology, cloud, and market data licensing agreements.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IP strategy, including software trademarks and copyright enforcement.
• Solid understanding of data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity frameworks (GDPR).
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the UK, Spain, or Cyprus.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear business guidance for cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance or trading domain.
• Prior in-house or private practice experience within a financial services organization.
• Experience interpreting complex regulations in foreign jurisdictions.
