What you will do

• Design and implement DR and resilience architectures across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Engineer backup, replication, failover, and failback solutions for critical applications.
• Plan and execute DR exercises, including tabletop, functional, and full-scale failover tests.
• Maintain DR systems, runbooks, and automation scripts while ensuring continuous monitoring of backup health.
• Partner with application owners to validate recovery procedures and ensure they are actionable.
• Align DR engineering with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements like SOX, HIPAA, and PCI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with DR technologies, systems recovery, or backup administration.
• Strong knowledge of backup systems and replication technologies (e.g., Veeam, Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik).
• Proficiency in cloud resilience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals for DR, including DNS failover, routing, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-34, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls related to resilience.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Certifications such as CBCP, CISSP, CISM, or AZ-500.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep).
• Familiarity with enterprise service management tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
