Software Engineer II (Node.js/TypeScript)

Location: Remote in the United States; proximity to the Charlotte, NC metro area is preferred

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain integrations through embedded iPaaS platforms in no-code and full-code environments.
• Develop and support the customer-facing API, including new features, reliability improvements, and deployments.
• Build scalable, maintainable integrations with ERP systems, IoT sensors, and third-party APIs.
• Triage and resolve integration issues in collaboration with support and customer success.
• Lead smaller initiatives and technical spikes, clarify requirements, and identify gaps early.
• Collaborate with product and QA, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to reviews, documentation, demos, and architectural improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms, preferably Prismatic.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and third-party APIs using REST, webhooks, and OAuth.
• Ability to work independently, solve ambiguous problems, make technical trade-offs, and communicate plans, risks, and decisions effectively.
• Fluency with AI tools and workflows, applying them pragmatically with sound judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with other embedded iPaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Experience working directly with customers or customer-facing teams.
• Contributions to API design or developer experience improvements.
• Proximity to the Charlotte, NC metro area.
