What you will do

• Own and drive the monthly close process and financial reporting timeline.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements for accuracy.
• Support on-chain accounting operations, digital asset tracking, and crypto-related reporting.
• Oversee revenue recognition, AP/AR workflows, and operating expense management.
• Establish scalable accounting policies, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation.
• Provide guidance and review work for junior accounting team members.

Requirements

• Must be based in the contiguous United States or Canada.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting ERP systems (Xero preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to operate independently.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA.
• Experience with crypto, digital assets, or blockchain technology.
• Startup experience and familiarity with modern tools like Ramp.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading accounting staff.
