Salary: $120,000–$140,000 base

What you will do
- Own and drive the monthly close process and financial reporting timeline.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements for accuracy.
- Support on-chain accounting operations, digital asset tracking, and crypto-related reporting.
- Oversee revenue recognition, AP/AR workflows, and operating expense management.
- Establish scalable accounting policies, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation.
- Provide guidance and review work for junior accounting team members.
Requirements
- Must be based in the contiguous United States or Canada.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting ERP systems (Xero preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to operate independently.
Nice to have
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA.
- Experience with crypto, digital assets, or blockchain technology.
- Startup experience and familiarity with modern tools like Ramp.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading accounting staff.
