What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a cross-functional team of full-stack engineers.
• Own delivery for the Supply domain, shaping the roadmap and ensuring high-quality, predictable shipping.
• Guide system design and architecture decisions while remaining hands-on with code.
• Drive operational excellence, including monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing stakeholders to align with company goals.
• Advocate for and model the use of AI tools to improve engineering autonomy and craft.

Requirements

• Fluent English required; German is a plus.
• Several years of experience leading software engineers as a people manager.
• Strong technical foundation with experience in product-led B2C or marketplace environments.
• Comfort with the tech stack: TypeScript (backend/frontend), Java, and Groovy.
• Product mindset with a focus on business outcomes and user impact.
• Pragmatic approach to balancing delivery speed, quality, and maintainability.
