Compensation: $60,989–$200,500

What you will do

• Perform hands-on software design and development for lottery products.
• Architect solutions to complex technical problems and document designs.
• Write unit tests and conduct peer code reviews to ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with requirements engineers to estimate and deliver features on time.
• Mentor and support the growth of junior engineering team members.
• Develop internal tooling to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented and Concurrent Programming.
• Must be able to pass a security investigation.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with production deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Kafka.
• Experience with version control systems like GIT.
