What you will do

• Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-quality metal parts.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software and technical drawings.
• Perform complex machine setups, fixture installations, and first-piece inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance, diagnose operational issues, and perform routine maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Transact jobs in the SAGE ERP/MRP system by logging times and quantities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to machine shop team members to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in programming, setup, and operating large CNC mills and lathes.
• 5+ years of experience using Mastercam and/or Solidworks software daily.
• Must possess own tools and be able to begin programming and setups on day one.
• Proven ability to work with various metal grades and interpret complex technical drawings.
