Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Design and own enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and hybrid environments.
• Develop architecture documentation and artifacts to support Authority to Operate (ATO) under NIST RMF and FedRAMP.
• Define and enforce security standards including Zero Trust, IAM, and encryption patterns.
• Architect secure network topologies and cross-domain solutions for classified workloads.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards and promote secure DevSecOps deployment pipelines.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud architecture, engaging with government customers and AOs.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 4 years in DoD, IC, or federal government programs.
• Proven experience architecting production workloads on AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Deep knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Experience designing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) or multi-level security architectures.
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) in GovCloud environments.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or TOGAF.
