What you will do

• Support regulatory inspection readiness, including corrective actions and process follow-through
• Perform daily checks of refrigeration, sanitation chemicals, and dish machine operation; monitor critical limits
• Review and verify records for cook-chill processes
• Develop and implement food safety programs, including Chef audits, internal assessments, and training materials
• Train employees and Chef teams on GMPs, sanitation, and safe food handling; promote a food safety culture
• Identify and assess food safety risks; monitor production, handling, and storage areas; assist with environmental monitoring and shelf life testing

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, or equivalent experience in a high-compliance environment
• Certified Food Safety Manager (e.g., ServSafe) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience in food safety, quality control, or a related role
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and training skills, with strong analytical/problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
