What you will do

• Review loan officer submissions to verify application disclosures, income, assets, credit, and mortgage details are accurate and complete.
• Correct data errors and obtain missing information to meet established processing standards.
• Contact specified third parties to request items such as title commitment, employment verification, and hazard insurance.
• Submit completed files to underwriting, then gather and document conditions required for the file to be clear to close.
• Submit cleared files to the Mortgage Loan Closer for settlement.
• Handle additional duties assigned by team leads and/or department managers.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Working knowledge of the mortgage loan process and required documentation.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer technologies for a paperless environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
