What you will do

• Execute monthly close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and internal company policies.
• Perform accounting and analysis for operational areas such as leases and compensation.
• Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis to explain trends and relationships.
• Maintain compliance with SOX 404 controls and support internal/external audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and improve month-end close efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience (or Master's with 3+ years).
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Solid foundation in technical accounting and US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
• Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Ability to work onsite in Plano, Texas.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Previous Big 4 accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
• Knowledge of lease accounting (ASC 842) and compensation accounting.
• Interest in leveraging AI and automation for financial processes.
