TL;DR
Senior Field Engineer (Observability): Supporting Solution Engineering with technical enablement, demos, workshops, and deep product expertise across observability platforms with an accent on building and delivering technical content and architecting modern cloud-native applications. Focus on solving customer-facing technical needs through presentations, training materials, and incident/debugging-oriented understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Location: Germany (Remote)
Salary: 120,000 - 145,000 EUR OTE annually

What you will do
- Anticipate needs of the Solutions Engineering team and provide technical enablement for customer engagements.
- Design, develop, and deliver technical presentations, white papers, and product workshops.
- Create and deliver training materials, product demonstrations, and workshops for the One-X organization, customers, and the community.
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Experience to support sales and adoption activities.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for one or more observability products, leading deep-dive technical meetings and strategic POVs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical experience as an SRE, Developer, Architect, and/or presales Solution Architect.
- Deep understanding of at least two to three observability technologies (e.g., Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Elastic, Splunk, Datadog).
- Experience planning and executing a corporate observability strategy.
- Comfort with at least one modern programming language and understanding of the modern software development lifecycle (debugging and investigation).
- Working familiarity with Linux and common tools.
- Ability to architect a modern application on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IaC tools such as Terraform and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, and Microservices.
