Salary: $126,000–$201,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and validate onboard and off-board autonomy software.
• Build tools to increase development speed for building and evaluating autonomy software.
• Create solutions for introspection, visualization, and performance analysis.
• Optimize autonomy systems through architectural and algorithmic improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Autonomy, Test, Product, and Cloud Platform to ensure timely delivery of validation data.

Requirements

• Must be based in Pittsburgh, PA and able to work in a hybrid environment (3 days/week in office).
• Experience with cloud automation, data, and test automation.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Experience developing in Linux or Unix environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions such as S3, Postgres, and Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience in self-driving or autonomous driving technology.
• Background in robotics, mapping, or motion planning.
• Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and event queues (Kafka, SQS, SNS).
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts like JWT and mTLS.
