What you will do

• Develop and maintain industry-leading electricity cost modeling RESTful APIs.
• Build and optimize DBT data pipelines for nationwide electricity cost simulations.
• Translate complex product and SME requirements into robust engineering designs and implementation plans.
• Participate in technical design reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Improve engineering processes and establish best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively within a fully remote team environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of software development experience in a SaaS or technology company
• Proficiency in Python and enterprise Java (Spring/Spring Boot)
• Experience building SQL data pipelines (Snowflake/DBT) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Demonstrated experience in the adoption and implementation of LLMs
• Experience deploying systems on AWS or similar cloud platforms

Nice to have

• Experience in the energy industry or domains requiring deep technical knowledge
• Experience designing and troubleshooting large-scale web API systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized platforms, and Argo orchestration
• Frontend development experience with React
