What you will do
- Reconcile equity compensation financial reporting results between prior customer results and NextGen, including ASC 718 stock compensation expense, corporate/deferred tax, disclosures, and ASC 260 diluted EPS.
- Develop and deliver reconciliation comparison reports, analyze differences, identify root causes, and recommend resolutions.
- Reconcile participant- and grant-level equity administration data (balances and lifecycle events) between the legacy platform and NextGen.
- Validate share balances and equity lifecycle events, reconcile ESPP enrollment/contributions/purchases, and document administrative discrepancies through closure.
- Coordinate across adjacent teams to ensure migrated/loaded data and mapping logic support accurate reconciliation outputs, without owning configuration or data loading.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for customer stakeholders, meet SLA/quality expectations, and mentor more junior contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting with a focus on equity compensation management and reconciliation.
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 718 expense reporting, ASC 260 diluted EPS, corporate tax, and disclosure concepts.
- Experience with administrative/participant-level equity reconciliation and equity-related disclosures and year-end tax reporting (W-2 inserts, Forms 3921 and 3922).
- Experience with data migration, mapping, and validation across financial and equity administration systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable querying databases with SQL and working with large data sets.
