Senior Product Manager (AV Data Tools)

Location: Remote, with hybrid attendance required three times a week at a GM hub for selected candidates who live within the specified radius; listed locations include Sunnyvale, California, and Warren, Michigan. This role is limited to candidates authorized to work in the United States and does not provide immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $106,600–$192,700 base salary per year, plus bonus potential.

What you will do

• Own product requirements and roadmap priorities for internal web tools used to review, triage, investigate, and audit autonomous-vehicle log events.
• Partner with autonomy engineering, data science, safety, operations, design, and development teams on workflows involving camera, radar, lidar, map, vehicle-state, planning, prediction, and system-event data.
• Translate user needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization recommendations.
• Improve reviewer and developer productivity by addressing workflow bottlenecks, usability gaps, performance issues, and automation opportunities.
• Define and track metrics including time to signal, review throughput, triage time, investigation cycle time, reliability, adoption, completion quality, and time saved through automation and AI agentic support.
• Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, launch plans, and progress while helping evolve fast, intuitive, reliable, and scalable AV tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, software product development, data tooling, developer tooling, or a related field.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver software products or internal tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex data, identify patterns, and make practical product recommendations.
• Ability to learn technical domains quickly, document workflows, gather user feedback, define success metrics, and communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must already have U.S. work authorization; GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, simulation, mapping, perception, planning, or safety analysis.
• Experience with internal web applications, data review or labeling tools, observability tools, or developer productivity platforms.
• Familiarity with multi-modal sensor data, event review, log analysis, or large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience simplifying complex technical workflows with UX design and front-end engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
