Salary: $130,000–$170,000

What you will do

• Identify and mitigate sole-source risks across mechanical, electrical, and RF hardware.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to qualify viable alternate components.
• Evaluate supplier technical capabilities, production readiness, and scalability.
• Provide DFM/DFA input to influence design decisions and sourcing strategies.
• Facilitate cross-functional technical discussions between internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
• Support make vs. buy decisions based on cost, risk, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, RF, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, manufacturing engineering, or technical sourcing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proven experience working across mechanical, electrical, and RF hardware domains.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier capability assessment.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF systems, networking hardware, or complex electronics.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environments.
• Familiarity with PCBAs, cables, machined parts, and COTS components.
