Salary: $130,000–$170,000

What you will do
- Identify and mitigate sole-source risks across mechanical, electrical, and RF hardware.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to qualify viable alternate components.
- Evaluate supplier technical capabilities, production readiness, and scalability.
- Provide DFM/DFA input to influence design decisions and sourcing strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional technical discussions between internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
- Support make vs. buy decisions based on cost, risk, and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, RF, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, manufacturing engineering, or technical sourcing.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proven experience working across mechanical, electrical, and RF hardware domains.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier capability assessment.
Nice to have
- Experience with RF systems, networking hardware, or complex electronics.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability environments.
- Familiarity with PCBAs, cables, machined parts, and COTS components.
