What you will do

• Serve as a cross-functional legal partner for music, business development, and consumer partnership teams.
• Structure, negotiate, and close a wide range of agreements including music partnerships and developer contracts.
• Build and maintain commercial legal infrastructure, including contract templates and strategic playbooks.
• Provide strategic legal advice to help business partners make smarter and faster decisions.
• Manage complex commercial transactions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements

• JD and active US state bar membership required.
• At least 8+ years of legal experience, with substantial in-house and music or entertainment industry background.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Must be able to work on-site in the New York office.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate clearly with technical and business audiences.
• Hands-on, low-ego approach to tackling projects across the organization.
