What you will do
- Review project proposals, drawings, and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
- Interpret structural steel fabrication drawings, including weld symbols and member sizing.
- Extract material quantities and perform accurate takeoffs to support project estimates.
- Enter and verify job information within the Epicor ERP system.
- Coordinate with detailing and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies in project documentation.
- Generate and review reports such as Parts Traveler, Hardware, and Order Weight.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Pineville, Louisiana.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques.
- Thorough understanding of steel fabrication processes and contracts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Engineering or Construction degree preferred.
