Compensation: $119,200–$158,900 per year

What you will do
- Define system-level requirements and architectures for NDT imaging systems including sources, detectors, and safety subsystems.
- Lead system integration activities across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and physics.
- Translate customer, regulatory, and business needs into verifiable system specifications.
- Ensure system designs meet international standards such as ASTM, ISO, and ASME.
- Analyze test data and customer feedback to drive continuous system improvements and performance optimization.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, quality, and service teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in a STEM discipline, including 7+ years in systems engineering for complex electro-mechanical or imaging systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial radiography principles, specifically X-ray and gamma imaging.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and integration across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with requirements definition, system modeling, and verification/validation processes.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Hands-on experience with digital radiography (DR) detectors or image processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with NDT standards and inspection workflows.
- Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments.
- Exposure to requirements management tools such as DOORS, JAMA, or SysML.
