What you will do

• Define system-level requirements and architectures for NDT imaging systems including sources, detectors, and safety subsystems.
• Lead system integration activities across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and physics.
• Translate customer, regulatory, and business needs into verifiable system specifications.
• Ensure system designs meet international standards such as ASTM, ISO, and ASME.
• Analyze test data and customer feedback to drive continuous system improvements and performance optimization.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, quality, and service teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in a STEM discipline, including 7+ years in systems engineering for complex electro-mechanical or imaging systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial radiography principles, specifically X-ray and gamma imaging.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and integration across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with requirements definition, system modeling, and verification/validation processes.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on experience with digital radiography (DR) detectors or image processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with NDT standards and inspection workflows.
• Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments.
• Exposure to requirements management tools such as DOORS, JAMA, or SysML.
