What you will do

• Support implementation and monitoring of the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF).
• Support implementation and updates of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP).
• Support implementation and operationalization of the project Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).
• Collect and analyze primary and secondary data to ensure environmental and social risks are mitigated according to safeguards plans.
• Identify changes to risks and adjust mitigation measures accordingly.
• Support compliance monitoring of environmental and social safeguards with hirify.global, national, and Green Climate Fund (GCF) requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in environmental sciences, natural resources management, environmental law, social sciences, forestry, sustainable development, or a related field (IAU/UNESCO-recognized).
• For candidates with a bachelor’s degree: 2 additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with international organizations, development partners, or climate finance projects is considered an asset.
• Ability to support safeguards implementation, monitoring, and risk mitigation through data collection and analysis.
• Adherence to hirify.global values and integrity and transparency standards.
