National Intern: Advocacy (Research) (Advocacy): Conducting research, generating evidence, and analyzing policy trends to inform advocacy strategies for children's rights with an accent on child rights, education, and climate change. Focus on producing literature reviews, stakeholder mapping, and developing evidence-based advocacy products.

What you will do

• Perform desk and literature reviews on priority advocacy issues and gather data from national and global sources.
• Analyze policies, laws, and government budgets to track progress on national and international development commitments.
• Map key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers to support strategic advocacy planning.
• Develop evidence-based advocacy products, including briefing notes, fact sheets, and reports.
• Maintain research databases and translate technical findings into accessible communication messages.
• Support research on cross-cutting issues such as climate change, plastic pollution, and water security.

Requirements

• Current enrolment in an undergraduate or advanced degree programme in Public Health, Planning, Development Studies, or related areas.
• Demonstrated ability in report writing and qualitative/quantitative data collection and analysis.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have no relatives working in any hirify.global office or in the direct line of authority.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or local languages.
