What you will do
- Schedule daily music logs for Classic FM and extension stations using GSelector.
- Maintain and develop the extensive music database, including audio loading and metadata management.
- Ensure accurate PRS/PPL reporting for all music output.
- Suggest new recordings to enhance station playlists.
- Collaborate with producers, presenters, and commercial teams to ensure a consistent, listener-focused sound.
- Uphold Ofcom Broadcasting Code and editorial standards.
Requirements
- Experience using music scheduling software, specifically GSelector.
- Familiarity with playout systems like Zetta or a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition.
- Solid knowledge of classical music and understanding of mainstream audience engagement.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to scheduling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
