What you will do

• Monitor changes in IFRS, tax, and civil code regulations impacting financial reporting.
• Maintain and update group accounting policies.
• Advise on structuring major business transactions to align with financial strategy.
• Provide 2nd line consultancy for material and non-routine accounting matters.
• Discuss accounting positions with external auditors and professional practice experts.
• Educate finance professionals on the application of group accounting policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting and IFRS.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate complex realities into practical guidance.
• Proven experience in discussing IFRS positions between auditors and auditees.
• Ability to make judgments in ambiguous situations and communicate complex matters clearly.

Nice to have

• University education in Finance.
• Understanding of the payments industry.
• Knowledge of tax and civil code legislation.
• Proficiency in French or German.
