What you will do

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of IT audits, supervisory reviews, and regulatory information requests.
  • Conduct IT compliance and control gap assessments against local UAE regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Identify compliance gaps and technology risks, defining and tracking remediation plans with IT and Security teams.
  • Develop and maintain IT, cybersecurity, and information security policies aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert, translating regulatory requirements into implementable technical controls.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all IT compliance activities and evidence repositories.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or technology risk management in regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of UAE financial regulatory expectations, including IT governance, cybersecurity, and data residency.
  • Hands-on experience with gap assessments and defining remediation plans.
  • Solid knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT.
  • Fluent English and professional working proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) are mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and regulatory requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
