Compliance Operations Director (Digital Assets)

What you will do

• Lead the operational implementation of regulatory licences across licensed entities and ensure operational readiness before go-live.
• Develop and maintain compliance operating frameworks, including SOPs, governance processes, control frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Standardise compliance documentation, templates, and implementation methodologies across jurisdictions.
• Track regulatory obligations, establish escalation mechanisms, identify operational gaps, and drive remediation.
• Partner with Licensing, Legal, Product, Technology, Operations, and regional business teams throughout the licensing lifecycle.
• Lead and develop the Compliance Operations team while reporting on implementation progress, operational risks, and regulatory commitments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Compliance Operations, Regulatory Operations, or a related function within financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
• Experience implementing regulatory or licensing requirements into operational business processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience building or improving operational frameworks in a regulated environment.
• Strong programme management, stakeholder management, and written communication skills.
• Experience designing SOPs, operational procedures, and governance documentation for scalable business operations.
• Previous people management experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
