Finance & Business Analytics Intern (E-commerce)

TL;DR

Finance & Business Analytics Intern (E-commerce/SaaS): Supporting financial planning and quantitative business analysis by bridging finance and data engineering with an accent on forecasting, reporting, and automation. Focus on building dashboards, optimizing financial controls using SQL and Python, and providing data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid in Eindhoven (min. 3 days/week in office). Must be based in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Support the FP&A team with forecasting, budgeting, and monthly management reporting.
• Perform data analysis, automation, and process improvement using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial performance.
• Automate financial controls and reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support business and financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and technical teams to provide data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Business Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Affinity with data and preferably hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Available for a minimum of 5 months, at least 32 hours per week, and based in the Netherlands.
• English: B2+ proficiency required.
