What you will do

• Lead and coordinate all project engineering, design management, and systems engineering activities.
• Ensure all rail infrastructure and operations meet rigorous regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Manage integration, design assurance, and collaboration across various engineering streams.
• Lead system safety assurance processes and interface with key regulatory and review panels.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a multidisciplinary technical services team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for major technical and safety-related matters with clients and regulators.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in the rail industry with demonstrable expertise in project lifecycle management.
• Professional Engineering Certificate (P.Eng) or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex rail infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of commuter railway systems, including track, stations, civil works, electrification, and signaling.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and operational standards such as ISO 15288 and EN 50126.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a wider portfolio of mixed value and complexity.

• INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
