What you will do

• Provide direction, mentorship, and performance management for Assembly Team Leads and Technicians.
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to drive production schedules and operational targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain to resolve production constraints.
• Enforce Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and company safety protocols.
• Analyze production build times and labor data to improve operational planning and efficiency.
• Support hiring, training, and organizational planning for the assembly department.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly operations, or production leadership.
• Must be able to work on-site in Alexandria, Louisiana.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating teams and driving accountability in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to operational disruptions.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and electrical systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Background in high-voltage equipment or power distribution.
