TL;DR
Senior Benefits Specialist (HR): Administering and maintaining U.S. and international health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans with an accent on compliance, data integrity, and vendor management. Focus on resolving complex eligibility inquiries, leading leave of absence processes, and driving process improvements within the HRIS.
Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ohio, and work in the office at least 4 days a week.
Salary: $81,000 - $138,000 Annually

What you will do
- Serve as the primary contact for employee, HR, and vendor inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with benefit plans by interpreting plan documents and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and support vendor data file management.
- Lead the leave of absence process for STD, FML, and LTD in coordination with third-party administrators.
- Manage vendor performance, coordinate status updates, and develop issue resolution action plans.
- Partner in the annual enrollment planning and implementation process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-4 years of experience in employee benefits administration, including group insurance and disability.
- Strong knowledge of regulations such as ERISA, IRC, PPACA, USERRA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently with high discretion and confidentiality.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Restaurant Support Center in Dublin, OH, at least 4 days per week.
Nice to have
- CEBS or equivalent professional designation.
- Experience with international benefits and retirement plans.
