What you will do

• Lead research, ideation, and creation of application interactions and user flows.
• Partner with UX Research, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to translate conceptual ideas into actionable designs.
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and visual frameworks to ensure cohesive product experiences.
• Conduct usability testing, interviews, and user research to develop deep insights into user behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with AODA accessibility guidelines across all web applications.
• Support development teams with coding activities (JavaScript, React) when necessary.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of relevant industry experience, including 2+ years in an individual contributor role.
• Deep knowledge of product design, interaction patterns, and responsive web application best practices.
• Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial mindset suitable for a flat organization.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a background check.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript and React.
