What you will do
- Drive the end-to-end SOX 404 compliance program, including scoping, risk assessment, and control testing.
- Partner with process owners to design efficient, scalable financial and IT general controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to manage walkthroughs, testing, and issue resolution.
- Lead remediation efforts for control deficiencies and conduct root cause analysis.
- Support the development and maintenance of internal control frameworks for sustainability and ESG reporting.
- Collaborate on special projects including M&A integration and GRC tool implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in internal controls, SOX, or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of the COSO framework and IT general controls.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Bridgewater, NJ.
- Experience with sustainability or ESG reporting is preferred but not required.
- CPA or IFRS knowledge is considered a plus.
