What you will do

• Act as mechanical SME across the region, covering cooling plant, airside systems, hydronic systems, and mechanical sequence of operation.
• Define and drive mechanical operations philosophy and standards, including guidance for SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs and mechanical technical documentation.
• Serve as regional mechanical technical authority during incidents, providing escalation support and advising response/recovery actions to restore systems safely and rapidly.
• Provide technical input to root cause analyses (RCAs), including failure mode assessment and corrective/preventative actions, and coordinate third-party experts when needed.
• Review non-routine/high-impact maintenance and change activity (including contractor RAMS) to ensure risk controls, temporary configuration, and return-to-service criteria.
• Support design, construction, and commissioning for existing and new facilities; oversee post-delivery mechanical/controls changes to protect availability and customer SLAs.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years preferred in data centers and/or critical environments.
• Demonstrated experience designing, maintaining, and operating critical mechanical systems in critical environments (e.g., chillers, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers/dry coolers, pumps/valves, heat exchangers, ventilation, hydronic distribution) including commissioning/retro-commissioning.
• Experience delivering highly complex technical projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills, accountability, and ability to self-start and adapt to shifting priorities.
