What you will do
- Own the engineering organization end-to-end, including architecture, delivery, and team scaling.
- Integrate Claude Code and AI-assisted workflows into every layer of the development lifecycle.
- Translate business goals into technical roadmaps with clear timelines and risk management.
- Audit and raise the bar on codebase quality, system design, and maintainability.
- Interface between engineering and C-suite leadership to ensure alignment on company outcomes.
- Pivot quickly and proactively anticipate architectural needs as product priorities shift.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling complex production applications.
- Hands-on expertise with the PFM stack: Next.js, React, tRPC, Cloudflare Workers, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience using Claude Code or similar AI-native tools to ship production features.
- Strong architectural judgment with a focus on long-term reliability and reducing technical debt.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams and delivering consistent outcomes.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or financial infrastructure.
- Background in scaling teams from early-stage to mid-size.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical writing.
