What you will do

• Lead the transformation of the platform into an AI-native environment utilizing agentic systems for marketing workflows.
• Assess current architecture, identify technical debt, and drive modernization to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Mentor and retain a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
• Partner with Product to shape the roadmap, estimate delivery, and ensure predictable execution.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and team composition to build necessary capabilities.
• Lead incident response and maintain platform reliability, scalability, and ecosystem integrations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7+ years of experience building production software with a background as a senior engineer.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams of 10+ people.
• Deep experience building or scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms in AWS.
• Strong backend expertise with modern frameworks like Java/Spring Boot.
• Proven track record of measurable platform improvements and managing incident response at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience in adtech, martech, or data-intensive B2B SaaS environments.
• Background integrating with DSPs, CDPs, or similar marketing ecosystem platforms.
• Experience with LLM agent frameworks, React, and real-time streaming architectures.
