What you will do

• Maintain and repair cooling systems, including chillers, pumps, and air conditioning units, within data centre environments.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Read and interpret complex schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams for accurate repairs.
• Monitor system performance and maintain detailed digital records of all maintenance and modification activities.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight as part of a maintenance team during system upgrades or construction projects.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational policies.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Refrigeration and Air conditioning or a similar relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical cooling engineering, specifically with air conditioning or data centre cooling solutions.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical schematics and system layouts.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex mechanical and control issues.
• Commitment to a safety-first mindset and operational excellence.
• Must be based in or able to work in the Southeast region of England.
