What you will do

• Act as the senior electrical technical authority for the EMEA portfolio, reviewing and signing off on electrical designs and technical outputs.
• Lead the engineering strategy for HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generation, and critical power architectures.
• Ensure all electrical systems meet Uptime Institute Tier, TIA-942, IEC, BS, and regional utility requirements.
• Manage external engineering consultants and design partners, ensuring their outputs align with company standards and project objectives.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for AI-ready infrastructure, liquid cooling, and renewable energy systems.
• Coordinate with Product, Delivery, and Operations teams to incorporate operational lessons into future engineering standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with IET, CIBSE, or equivalent professional body.
• 10–15+ years of experience in mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure, specifically hyperscale, colocation, or AI data centers.
• Deep technical expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, and critical power distribution.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and acting as a senior technical authority.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, England.

• Experience with modular, prefabricated, or industrialised delivery models.
• Proficiency with BIM-enabled workflows and Revit-based coordination.
