Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Build, structure, and lead the local accounting team in Budapest.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting cycles, including AP, AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Develop and implement a scalable insourcing model for smaller group entities.
• Optimize internal controls and standardize financial workflows across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Accounting in Copenhagen and cross-functional teams.
• Support ERP improvements and integration of new business entities.

Requirements

• Must be based in Budapest or able to work from the local office.
• Solid hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting processes.
• Proven knowledge of multi-entity accounting environments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proactive, independent, and structured mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
