Junior GL Accountant

TL;DR

Junior GL Accountant: Supporting GL team in daily operations for foreign subsidiaries of hirify.global with key scope of Europe. Focus on managing accounting transactions, preparing reconciliations, participating in monthly closings, and creating ad-hoc reports.

Location: Fully remote from any location in Hungary – with time-to-time office presence.

What you will do

• Manage accounting transactions for foreign subsidiaries, focusing on Europe.
• Prepare balance sheet, intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly closing activities.
• Create ad-hoc reports for business needs.
• Maintain files and ensure proper documentation for audits and reference.
• Handle other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience as an accountant.
• Experience with international organizations.
• Native in Hungarian.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• SAP FI knowledge.
