What you will do

• Analyze data conversion pipelines to identify discrepancies and mapping errors when transforming raw exchange feeds into internal schemas.
• Author and maintain functional specifications, data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data solution implementations.
• Manage the full requirements lifecycle from intake and analysis through documentation, development handoff, and QA validation.
• Investigate and define resolution paths for production issues and enhancement requests in coordination with development and QA teams.
• Partner with engineering teams to interpret system logic and configurations to ensure accurate requirement definition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data or business analysis within capital markets, fintech, or regulated trading environments.
• Hands-on experience with market data structures, trading protocols, and order lifecycle workflows.
• Proven ability to interpret technical implementations, including data pipelines and system logic.
• Experience producing structured functional documentation, including data flows and process maps.
• Must have full working rights in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency).

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira and Confluence for task tracking and collaboration.
• Previous experience in a Trade Surveillance or compliance capacity.
• Familiarity with SQL, data querying, or structured financial data formats.
