Senior Strategy and Operations Associate (AI): Supporting the General Manager/Product Manager in determining immediate and long-term business strategy and scaling hirify.global’s operating rhythm as the company grows with an accent on annual planning, setting OKRs, and building business/investment cases. Focus on facilitating cross-functional research & analysis, summarizing strategic insights to develop business cases and implementation plans, and providing analytical support for operational and strategic decisions.

Location: Vancouver or Toronto. Local hirify.globalns (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, London, New York City and Sydney) are expected to be in office min. twice per week.

Salary: $106,300 to $125,000 to $143,700 CAD

What you will do

• Synthesize business insights to help quantify, frame, and evaluate tradeoffs to deviations from operational targets and prepare executive-level presentations.
• Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with the respective business leaders.
• Lead research on growth opportunities through market sizing, assessing the competitive landscape, collaborating on product strategy & differentiation, establishing go-to-market business fundamentals, and modeling the financials.
• Support product strategy by building long-range strategic plans and supporting product operations & analytics to assess and manage performance as well as R&D ROI.
• Facilitate the synthesis of cross-functional research & analysis, summarize strategic insights to develop business cases and implementation plans.
• Provide general analytical support for operational and strategic decisions across the Company and operate as an embedded strategic management consultant and resource.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of work experience in a relevant field (e.g., strategy & operations, product strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business development).
• Experience with market sizing, competitive landscaping, and financial modeling.
• Strong focus on strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and deadline-oriented.
• Understanding of how to measure and evaluate performance across all business functions and a strong ability to query, analyze, and synthesize insights using a variety of datasets.
