What you will do

  • Manage project setup, SOW terms, budgets, and billing structures in the project management system.
  • Execute the end-to-end monthly client invoicing cycle and manage AR follow-up for aged invoices.
  • Monitor SOW budgets in collaboration with Managing Directors to flag overruns and scope shifts.
  • Coordinate payroll reconciliation and HR operations support, comparing time records with ADP.
  • Support the monthly close process by providing revenue, project AP detail, and expense reconciliations.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of project accounting or agency finance experience, ideally in PR, communications, or marketing.
  • Proficiency with time-tracking tools (Beyond Software, Workfront) and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Strong knowledge of agency economics, including SOWs, rate cards, and billable hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting a finance team through a systems migration (e.g., QuickBooks to NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with ADP or comparable payroll platforms.
  • Exposure to a PE-backed environment with monthly reporting cadences.
