Salary: $83,738 – $110,000

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, financial analyses, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure strict compliance with GAAP standards.
• Identify and leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work and accelerate the close process.
• Analyze GL accounts and financial statements to ensure fluctuations are documented and aligned with expectations.
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit and respond to information requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3-4 years of experience, preferably with a mix of public and private accounting.
• Must be based in the US (excluding AK, AR, DE, HI, ME, MS, NM, OK, SD, VT, WI).
• Experience with complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, or business combinations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience leveraging AI tools or advanced technology to improve accounting processes.
• Public company exposure through audit or industry background.
