Salary: $130,000 - $155,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and implement mechanical designs for complex systems, balancing user requirements and thermal performance.
• Apply DfM/DfA/DfX principles to optimize part geometry and ensure seamless integration of PCBs and sensors.
• Produce engineering documentation including drawings, bills of materials, and tolerance analyses.
• Manage external vendors for custom part fabrication and product compliance testing.
• Conduct reliability testing including drop, ingress, thermal, and cycle tests.
• Contribute to manufacturing transfer activities, including assembly fixture design and inspection criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant product development experience post-bachelor's.
• Strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and FEA.
• Practical expertise in plastic injection molding, DFM/DFA, and precision tolerance analysis.
• Experience designing for ingress protection and thermal management in portable electromechanical devices.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a regulated environment (ISO 13485) and familiarity with medical device design controls.
