What you will do

• Prepare and verify engineering deliverables for high voltage substations up to 345kV.
• Design wiring, schematic diagrams, SCADA drawings, one-line/three-line diagrams, and grounding plans.
• Perform technical calculations, including AC & DC station service loading, ampacity, battery sizing, and voltage drop.
• Coordinate design efforts with interdisciplinary teams, including civil and structural engineers.
• Evaluate manufacturer and contractor proposals for conformance with company criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• One year of related GRID experience.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft 365, and file sharing software (e.g., ProjectWise Explorer).
• Proficiency with IEEE and other common industry standards.
• Valid US work authorization without the need for current or future sponsorship.
• Ability to travel nationally up to 10%.
