What you will do
- Lead cross-functional technical meetings with Software, Hardware, FPGA, Database, and Systems Engineering teams.
- Translate technical discussions into actionable tasks, deliverables, and project updates.
- Drive accountability by tracking commitments, action items, and dependencies through to completion.
- Identify and proactively escalate risks, blockers, and delivery challenges.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and critical paths to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, ticketing systems, and reporting tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience within technical, engineering, or embedded systems environments.
- Strong understanding of embedded software development lifecycles (SDLC) and engineering processes.
- Experience working with hardware-software integration projects.
- Proficiency with project management and ticketing tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
- Availability to work on-site in Markham on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Experience with FPGA, real-time systems, or VME architectures.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Background in power systems, industrial automation, aerospace, or transportation.
- Knowledge of systems integration and multidisciplinary product development.
