What you will do

• Configure IPv4 addresses and execute network connectivity tests (ping, traceroute) to validate system communication.
• Perform system bring-up and validation for modems, routers, and embedded systems in lab and production environments.
• Automate workstation provisioning and configuration using Ubuntu/Linux and Ansible.
• Deploy and manage software packages using Docker containers for environment consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across network configurations, automation scripts, and integrated system behavior.
• Document test procedures, capture diagnostic data, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of IPv4 networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, gateways, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and CLI networking tools.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash scripting.
• Exposure to automation tools (Ansible preferred) and Docker or containerized environments.
• Ability to follow structured procedures while independently troubleshooting system issues.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to El Segundo, CA for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF systems, signal chains (Tx/Rx), and RF test equipment.
• Experience configuring network appliances, modems, or routers.
• Familiarity with version control workflows, SSH, and remote device management.
• Basic experience with data analysis or visualization tools.
