What you will do

• Define and drive the platform roadmap for an open developer ecosystem, including API design and SDK frameworks.
• Lead the technical strategy for the Developer Portal, decoupling a monolithic UI into independent frontend applications.
• Establish API governance, versioning strategies, and backward-compatibility standards.
• Evaluate build-vs-integrate decisions for foundational components to ensure ecosystem health.
• Mentor senior engineers and sponsor those working on complex, ambiguous problems.
• Represent the platform externally through technical blogs, documentation, and developer relations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 3–5+ years at a principal or staff level.
• 6+ years of experience designing and operating distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in React, HTML, CSS, and advanced state management patterns.
• Experience owning technical strategy for complex web platforms or developer portals.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLM-backed services or agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of enterprise HCM, talent, or workforce management domains.
• Cloud certifications (GKE, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
