What you will do
- Drive the design of distributed, secure full-stack cloud services processing petabytes of data.
- Resolve complex, cross-organizational technical challenges through hands-on implementation and architectural leadership.
- Establish engineering standards for performance, scalability, and security across multiple teams.
- Align technical execution with product strategy while identifying and removing operational friction.
- Mentor senior and lead engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with principal engineers and product teams to build AI-powered legal data solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and operating complex cloud-native distributed systems.
- Proven technical leadership across multiple teams or domains.
- Strong background in architecture, security, and reliability at scale.
- Ability to define technical direction and drive cross-team alignment.
- Experience translating business goals into technical strategy.
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority.
Nice to have
- Experience shaping data platforms or UI standards.
- Experience working in global or highly distributed organizations.
- Familiarity with AI-development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Experience in regulated or large-scale environments.
