What you will do

• Drive the design of distributed, secure full-stack cloud services processing petabytes of data.
• Resolve complex, cross-organizational technical challenges through hands-on implementation and architectural leadership.
• Establish engineering standards for performance, scalability, and security across multiple teams.
• Align technical execution with product strategy while identifying and removing operational friction.
• Mentor senior and lead engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with principal engineers and product teams to build AI-powered legal data solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and operating complex cloud-native distributed systems.
• Proven technical leadership across multiple teams or domains.
• Strong background in architecture, security, and reliability at scale.
• Ability to define technical direction and drive cross-team alignment.
• Experience translating business goals into technical strategy.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority.

Nice to have

• Experience shaping data platforms or UI standards.
• Experience working in global or highly distributed organizations.
• Familiarity with AI-development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Experience in regulated or large-scale environments.
