Senior UX Designer (Medtech)

Senior UX Designer (Medtech): Creating intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences across internal systems and customer-facing portals with an accent on complex diagnostic workflows and Salesforce ecosystems. Focus on designing multi-persona interfaces, conducting user research, and translating visual designs into responsive HTML/CSS templates to improve cancer care diagnostics.

Location: Hybrid in San Diego or South San Francisco, or U.S. remote.

Salary: $158,000 – $200,650 USD

What you will do

• Design end-to-end user experiences for portals and internal workflows across multiple personas.
• Translate Adobe Creative Suite designs into responsive HTML/CSS templates for automated report generation.
• Partner with engineering and QA to support Salesforce integration and dynamic data rendering.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Define and maintain reusable design components and contribute to design systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business, Human Factors, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise or customer-facing applications.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience designing within Salesforce ecosystems.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience designing healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory workflows.
• Familiarity with EMR/Epic systems.
• Experience building or contributing to design systems.
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and compliance standards.
• Experience working in Agile environments with Jira.
